Exciting opportunity to join PEI Global Partners (“PEI” or the “Company”), a newly-formed independent and entrepreneurial investment banking advisory firm. PEI focuses on strategic advisory for clients in the Power, Energy and Infrastructure sectors. PEI is comprised of a dedicated team of trusted advisors with extensive experience in the industry. Although PEI was launched as an independent entity in 2022, key members of the team have worked together since 2014.

PEI is dedicated to serving clients with long-standing, established relationships. The PEI team actively partners and advises market-leaders in the power and energy sector, including financial sponsors, renewables developers and independent power companies, on a variety of M&A, strategic advisory and capital raising (both debt & equity) activities.

about the position:

  • PEI is seeking Associates to join the team and support the growth of this independent advisory practice, providing the opportunity to join at the ground-level of a growing franchise. PEI’s goal is to develop talent organically and promote internally, providing the new hire with ample opportunity to grow within a boutique investment banking platform.

responsibilities:

  • Work with senior banking officers and professionals and participate in client transactions projects or assignments as a junior member of the Investment Banking team

  • Responsible for analyzing and building sophisticated financial data and models used in client proposals and strategic plans

  • Prepare presentations, valuation materials and statistical exhibits for pitches and live deals

  • Evaluate company’s financial performance compared to overall industry and market trends

  • Preparing and delivering presentations

  • Maintain client relations during the deal execution period and build M&A, Debt, & Equity transaction expertise

qualifications:

  • Strong interest to learn about the Power/Renewables/Energy sector

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent analytical skills

  • Highly motivated, self-directed individual

  • Strong client management and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure in a rapidly changing environment in order to meet deadlines

  • Team player and ability to work independently as well

  • For Associate role, receipt of an advanced academic degree and/or industry experience are preferred
